Pakistan Independence Day 2019

Pakistan Independence Day 2019! Pakistan’s original date of Independence is 15th August 1947. Even Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah celebrated the first birthday of Pakistan on August 15. According to Islamic Calendar, Pakistan was created on Ramadan 27, on the night of Laylat al-Qadr. Initially, Pakistan consisted of two parts – West Pakistan (today Pakistan) and East Pakistan (today Bangladesh). East Pakistan got separated in 1971 and came to be known as Bangladesh.

Muhammad Ali Jinnah was the first Governor-General of Pakistan, and Liaquat Ali Khan was the first Prime Minister of Pakistan. The national flag of Pakistan was first adopted during a meeting of the Constituent Assembly on August 11, 1947, just three days before independence.

The word ‘Pakistan’ is a combination of two words ‘Pak’ (meaning pure) and Stan (meaning land). This name was provided by Chaudhry Rehmat Ali.

The Pakistani flag consists of two colors green and white; of which green stands for Islam and Muslims, whereas the white stripe represents religious minorities in Pakistan. The star and crescent on the flag symbolize progress and light. Pakistan is the strongest Muslim country in the whole world. It’s the only Muslim Nuclear Power nation, having a strong army of 10 lac. Pakistan’s Independence Day is calledYoum-e-Azadi in Urdu. Muhammad Ali Jinnah is the founder of Pakistan.
